What I'm making

Lemon brownies, which is the best name for them, honestly, because they've got the consistency of brownies but the flavor of lemon. Pedanticism about this must be silenced. I'll take these to my cow-orkers tomorrow. One cannot have them floating around one's house (the brownies, not the cow-orkers).

What I'm doing this afternoon

Playing Call of Cthulhu with a new group. I'll be Florence Hawthorne, physics professor, who was doing some doctorate-level work at Columbia and had been consulting with a central NPC for this campaign when she realized the targeting system for the device they were jointly developing consisted of brass discs covered in strange symbols the NPC had gotten from dreams. Well, that's hardly scientific, now is it?

Rejuvenating myself today via TTRPGs: I played Delta Green this morning/afternoon, then rolled up a character for a Down Darker Trails campaign I just joined. Related to that, I've very nearly caught up on the Discord servers I haunt but for a few of them, the usual suspects that I always leave to last and then never visit because I'm so far behind on them.
